Hey meredith, this list of “inapporpriate Halloween costumes if you work in a homeless shelter” is hilarious! Because I work for the Red Cross and I also deal with a lot of homeless people and low income people, I can identify with this list as well. I read another of your blogs as well, about ‘client J’, and yah, that sounds pretty intense! I have to say, my job often gets intense, but most of the time I just don’t have to get to know the clients on a level that you do, which is probably best. I’m sure if I really knew that stories and situations of most of our clients, I would probably freak out and like, never be able to leave my house again. Oh, and a week ago I had a crack addict ask me to marry him. Just a typical day in the life…
